Ever since she first started painting Nana has wanted to do a yellow space marine but I've always insisted yellow was too difficult. Having watched GW Duncan's video on a quick technique for painting yellow I decided it was time to let her have a go.
The whole model was base coloured with Averland Sunset, drybrushed with Hexos Palesun and washed with Casndora Yellow. All the details were base coloured and washed. As a finishing touch Nana has dusted his lower legs with Terracotta Earth from Secret Weapon to make it look like he has been walking through the red sands on his base.

NANA your latest model is awesome! You did so well using yellow. I don't know much about it but your dad said it is hard to use! I love the detail on the weapon too. really cool colours. do you want some paint when i come and visit at xmas? let me know what type if you do. Uncle N
Well done Nana I am amazed at how good you are. I really like the way you made the mans legs look like they have been walking through the sand. You are very clever. Nanny
